My name is Anne Malaythong. I am originally from Laos. My family immigrated to the United States, Oregon, in 1980. I grew up in Eugene, OR. I am the first in my family to graduate from a 4 year college. I graduated from the University of Oregon with a BS degree in Sociology. I also attended Lane Community College and NW Christian University.

My passion is helping others. I interned at Holt International Adoption Agency, volunteered at Nedco (provides financial education and both financial and housing counseling), volunteered at local middle schools, taught insurance classes at high schools and colleges. I was a guest speaker at the University of Oregon international student association. I believe in diversity and strongly support our LGBTQ community.

As an Oregonian, I love the outdoors and road trips around Oregon. My favorite place to camp is the Alvord desert in Oregon. It one of the greatest places to star gaze with minimal light pollution.

I've been a State Farm agent since May 1, 2015 and worked in insurance since 2009. I was a loan officer for 5 years. I also managed and operated my family's restaurant for 10 years.

I have 2 amazing and smart children, Hailey and Ashley, and a very supportive partner of over 20 years, Kevin Koontz. We love road trips, rafting, sledding, and camping.

My name is Calvin and I made the decision to join Team Anne at State Farm as an Account Representative for several reasons. First and foremost, Anne’s team embodies a strong sense of unity and friendship. From the moment I met the team members, I felt a welcoming and supportive atmosphere that instantly resonated with my values. I believe that a positive work environment is vital for both personal and professional growth, and I saw this at Team Anne.

I am a proud graduate of Sheldon High School, where I achieved a solid foundation of knowledge and skills. One of my highlights of my professional journey has been the joy of working and interacting with customers. This part of my work has always resonated with me, as I take pride in establishing meaningful connections and delivering exceptional service to individuals. Furthermore, I have hands-on experience working in the restaurant environment, which has honed my ability to handle fast paced, customer centric settings. The world of hospitality has taught me the importance of attention to detail, communication, and teamwork, qualities that I carry on with me in all aspects of my career.

Here’s a little glimpse of who I am. I’m a thrill seeker with a passion for adventure. When it comes to snowboarding, I find peace in the quiet snow covered mountains. The feeling of carving down a steep slope, surrounded by the scenery is an unmatched feeling. On the other side of the spectrum, I love riding motorcycles. The open road, wind on my face, and the rumble of the engine beneath me creates an experience that’s both freeing and thrilling. It’s a hobby that keeps me grounded and in touch with my adventurous side.
