About Me: My name is Anne Malaythong. I'm originally from Laos. My family immigrated to the United States in 1980. I grew up in Eugene/Springfield, OR. I am the first in my family to graduate from a university. I graduated from the University of Oregon with a BS degree in Sociology. I also attended Lane Community College and got my associate degree. In additional, I also attended NW Christian University with a focus in accounting. English is my 3rd language. I speak Lao and Thai.

I have a partner of 30 years+. We have two amazing children together, Hailey and Ashley. Hailey is in beauty school. Ashley is in the Air Force. We also have two perfect Terriers, Penne and Ellie. As a family, we enjoy camping, rafting, and long road trips in the Oregon outback.

Before opening my State Farm Insurance agency in 2015 in Eugene, OR. I managed and operated my parents’ Thai/Chinese restaurant for 10 years in Eugene, OR. I was a loan officer for 5 years. I also worked in commercial insurance at Wells Fargo for 5 years. I worked in the fields during the summer picking crops from the age of 7 to 16 to earn extra money for school clothes.

With my experience and background in lending, small business management, and 15 years in personal lines and commercial insurance. I am more than qualified to help you with your insurance needs. My team and I will help you choose which insurance policies suits your individual needs; auto, home, rental dwelling, renter’s, personal liability umbrella policy, life, personal articles policies, small business, commercial liability umbrella policy.

Community Involvement: I interned at Holt International Adoption Agency for a couple of years. I volunteered and taught insurance classes at Nedco (provides financial education and housing counseling for first time home buyers). I also volunteered at the local middle schools with underprivileged kids that needed an adult mentor. In addition, I taught insurance classes at high schools and colleges in Eugene and Springfield, Oregon. I was a guest speaker at the University of Oregon international student association.
